Social Impact

 Have Fun, Do Good

From day one we knew we wanted to be a business with a social impact. We believe strongly that we can use our business to not only serve our customers, but also our employees, our community, and our environment. Since we are all about people having fun and getting outdoors we created the tagline Adventure with Impact®.

What does that mean? Below are the initiatives we have implemented or are actively working on that will help us fulfill our mission.

Donations

Many responsible companies have give back programs such as partnering with 1% For the Planet. We like that model but wanted to have total control of where our donations were going and give our customers more connection to projects being funded.

Our program sets aside $5 for each day a customer rents a vehicle and puts it in our donation bucket that we then give to a selected non-profit doing great work locally. That means every day you are out camping in the woods you are contributing back to the outdoors you are enjoying. That is Adventure with Impact.

ELECTRIC
VEHICLE DISCOUNT

As part of our effort to get more low emissions vehicles on the roads, we are rewarding those that own zero emission Electric Vehicles (EVs) with a discount on our adventure vehicle rentals. Thinking of making the switch but not sure how you will get the mountains? Problem solved!

Got an EV already? Great, send a photo of you with your vehicle and we will email you with the 20% promo code to be used when booking a trip.

CARBON OFFSET FLEET

We know our vehicles are big and frankly inefficient on the road. They do great off the pavement but still have a significant carbon footprint.

We have partnered with Colorado Carbon Fund to offset the carbon from our vehicles using regenerative farming practices locally to reduce our air pollution here. Denver has some of the worse air quality in the country, we want to make sure we are not making it worse.

RIGHT-SIZE
YOUR VEHICLE

One problem we wanted to solve for the local outdoor enthusiasts is how to live the Colorado lifestyle but reduce your personal carbon footprint.  To explore our mountains properly many people need a large SUV or truck, but when used everyday contributes greatly to Denver’s quality air problems.  The EPA and New York Times report that 60% of the CO2 affecting our air is from the country’s 250 million passenger cars.

We give the millions of Denver Metro residents a way to dramatically reduce their carbon footprint by owning a smaller low-emission vehicle for the majority of their transportation needs yet keep their active outdoor lifestyle.  This long-term goal is how we the company can go beyond climate neutral and become climate positive, meaning we are making our air cleaner than if we did nothing at all.
